Anita "Scottie" Burton

Anita "Scottie" Burton 72, of Wauchula, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Advent Health Hospital Sebring, Florida. Scottie was born December 6, 1949, in Wauchula, Florida to Walter and Betty Shields. She was Methodist by faith attending Wauchula Methodist Church, She had been employed for the United States Postal Service up until retirement. Scottie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by parents Walter and Betty Shields and sister Maria Munro. Scottie is survived by husband Robert Burton of Wauchula, Florida; son Brian Burton (Emily) of Wauchula, Florida; sister Donna Huss of Wauchula, Florida; and grandson Simon Mateo Burton of Wauchula, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. in Robarts Garden Chapel.
