Anthony Joseph Gabrys

Anthony J. Gabrys, 72, of Wauchula, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Hardee Manor. He was born in Ashley, Pennsylvania on October 18, 1946. He moved to Wauchula two years ago from Pennsylvania. He was a Catholic. Anthony served his country in the U.S. Army, and had been employed as an electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Krisanda Gabrys. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Victoria Gabrys of Wauchula; two daughters, Tracie Gordon and Michelle James, both of Clarksville, Virginia; one sister, Elaine Petriga of Larksville, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, with two more great-grandchildren on the way! His cremated remains will be buried at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery.
