Carla Denise Mink Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carla Denise Mink 53, of Bowling Green, Florida passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, in Lakeland, Florida. Carla was born July 24, 1968, in Arcadia, Florida to Charles and Brenda Gunn. She has been a resident of Bowling Green, Florida her entire life, Baptist by faith. She was a member of Ft. Green Baptist Church; she was a caregiver by trade and spent her life taking care of numerous children and adults that impacted her greatly. Carla loved the beach and fishing but most of all she loved her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Gunn and daughter Amber Mink. Carla is survived by her loving husband Ron "Huey" Mink; mother Brenda Braxton (Mike); nieces and nephews Charlee Davenport, Stevee Davenport, Ashlee Davenport, Johnee Knight, Gunner Davenport, Rocco & Rory Braxton, Randy & Heidi Mink & their 4 children, Jacob & Amanda Mink & their 3 children, Caleb Mink and his 2 children, Eric & Isa Mink and their 2 children, Kendall Mink, and Julia Mink; brothers Keller & Ali Braxton, Kyle & Sandee Braxton, and Randall Mink; sisters Michelle & Dave Tally, and Melissa Gunn Davenport. A visitation will be held in the Robarts Garden Chapel Friday, May 13, 2022, at 6:00 P.M. funeral services will take place at Fort Green Baptist Church on May 14, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Roland Davis and Pastor Ricky Dyal will be officiating.
