Charles Nathan Ford, 83 of Wauchula, Florida passed away peacefully on March 15, 2022, after an extended illness at St. Amaro in Wauchula, Fl where he was known by the residents and staff as "Cowboy". He was born November 4, 1938, in Arcadia, Florida. Nathan was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Dora Mink Ford, sister Jewel Watts, brother Buddy Ford, and brother Gordon Ford. He is survived by his siblings Joyce (Ken) McLeod of Wauchula, Fl., David (Nancy) Ford of Lake Placid, Fl., Linda Kay (Lamar) Robinson of Sebring, Fl., one daughter Debbie Albritton of Wauchula, Fl., grandson Talmage Albritton of Bowling Green, Fl., granddaughter Leeza (Simon) Medrano of Wauchula, Fl., and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews who he was known as Uncle Nae. Nathan was Baptist by Faith, he was a member of the National Guard, he worked most of his life as a ranch hand in Hardee and Desoto County. In his younger years, he enjoyed his rodeo days participating in bareback bronc riding and bulldogging. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and a good barbeque, but most of all he loved any time spent with his large extended family. A graveside service will be held at Joshua Creek Cemetery in Arcadia, Florida on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. Following the service a barbeque will be held in Uncle Nae's honor at the home of Kenny and Vikki Ray in Wauchula, Florida, all family and friends are welcome to attend.
