Cori Alexandra Abbott

Cori Alexandra Abbott 26, a lifelong resident of Bowling Green, Florida went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 16, 2022, Cori was born on August 3, 1995, to Jesse and Jama Abbott, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Zolfo Springs. Cori was a proud member of the National Honor Society, a High School Competitive Cheerleader who went on to Cheer for the Methodist University. She was the national championship award winner. She earned the NCAA scholarship. Cori was a CMT national spokeswoman, accomplished equestrian, and animal advocate. Cori is proceeded in death by her Grandfathers Joseph Smith, and Rondall Abbott. She is survived by her parents Jesse of Fort Green, Fl. and Jama Abbott of Bowling Green, Fl., brother Caleb Abbott of Lakeland, Fl., Grandparents Donald and Mary Thompson of Fort Meade, Fl. Grandmother Elaine Abbott of Fort Green, Fl. Grandmother Ellen Smith of Jacksonville, Fl. , and Uncle Daniel (Rita) Smith of Bowling Green, Fl., A Celebration of life will be held at The First United Methodist Church of Zolfo Springs on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Pastors Dave and Amy Harper will be officiating services.
