Dimas Guardiola Vasquez, 62, a resident of Hardee County since 1984 coming from Homestead, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020. He was born in Mexico on March 26, 1958. Dimas worked as a citrus grove harvester. He was Pentecostal by faith. He is preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo Guardiola. Survivors include his companion, Annette Smith of Wauchula, Fl; mother, Maria Guardiola of Houston, MS; sons, Jose Dimas Guardiola (Julie) of Avon Park, Fl; Dimas Jose Guardiola of Arcadia, Fl; Alvaro Cardosa of Terrell, TX; daughter, Mayda Alamia (Alex) of Wauchula, Fl; brothers, Leanor Guardiola of NC, Gonzalo Guardiola (Mary Guardiola) of Huston, MS; Serapio Guardiola (Juana Guardiola) of Lyon, GA; sisters, Catalina Villasana (Jose Villasana) of Houston, MS; Guadalupe Sambrano of Wauchula, Fl; Sonia Robuck (Steven Robuck) of GA; Margarito Guardiola of VA; Marisela Limon (Lucio Limon) of Fort Meade, Fl. As well as 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 in the Robarts Garden Chapel at 11:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm in the Robarts Garden Chapel. Donaciano Llanis will be officiating services. Interment will take place at Wauchula Cemetery.
