Jack Soles Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jack Soles age 90, lost his 5-year battle with cancer early Tuesday, July 26, 2022, and joined his beloved wife of 62 years, Evelyn, in Glory. He missed her every day since her passing on November 9, 2014. He was born July 16, 1932, in Haines City to B.H. & Hattie Willis Soles. He was preceded in death by his parents & three brothers Harvey, Herbert & Lewis. He is survived by his sister-in-law Caroline Soles, nephews Jim, John, Thad, & Randy Soles, and niece Beth Soles Murray. And 4 children, Gail and Robby Burnett, David and Ruth Ann Soles, Russell and Carmen Soles Angie and Chris English; 8 grandchildren: Robbie Lynn and Louie Pella, Patrick and Lindsay Burnett, Daniel and Samantha Burnett, Lauren and Tom Fussell, Mandy and Wade Skinner, Kasey Soles, Kendell Coker, and Ari Soles 9 great-grandchildren: Abby, Chloe, and Kylie Burnett, Macey and Jack Fussell, Jace and Lane Burnett, Matthew and Greyson Skinner. His special daughter Wanda Day and his 3rd son Lewis Roberts. He missed his friends of 58 years Robert Ray Smith, Lewis Pace, Buford Long, and John Ray Gough He was the end of an era. He loved his family, lap puppy Ben, Florida Citrus, Fishing, baseball, golf, Gator football, his church, and Jesus. He was a kind, gentle, honorable man. We will miss him forever. Special thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice and Robarts Family Funeral Home for their care, but most of all, to Kasey for her diligent, loving care of her Poppa. In lieu of flowers please donate in his name to St, Jude Children’s Hospital, Rest Haven, or First United Methodist Church Wauchula. Services will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, with visitation to begin at 9:00 am and services at 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church of Wauchula. Mr. Marcus Shackleford will be officiating. Interment will take place at Hart Cemetery.
