Ray Carter, a resident of Hardee county since 1983 coming from St. Petersburg, Fl., was born on December 4, 1941 in Monticello, Kentucky and died on April 11, 2018 in Lakeland, He was an avid outdoorsman and co-owner of Limestone grocery for many years. Ray will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his Parents Earl and Imagine Carter and a son Jeff Carter. Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Jean Carter; son, John Carter wife Brandi; brother; Allan Carter wife Janice; sister Martha Anderson husband Max. as well as 7 grandchildren, Bridget, Melissa, Becky, Cole, Angel, Trista, and Aurora. Memorial services will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.
