Alice Jane Grimes went home to Jesus on Nov 28th at 90.

A.J. was born to Sammy & Ruth Peeples in Wauchula. Like children of that era, daily meals were sourced from mostly chicken coups, mason jars and root cellars. Manually splited wood heated water, their home and cooked meals 24/7 for years and years. Her garden was 99% vegetables 1% flowers. Water heaters and air condition were fantasy. She was greatful for her blessings.

AJ met her husband, Ray at Hardee Co High School. They married in 1948 and went on to have 3 children, Bobby, Gail & Michael. Grand children include Eric, Ray, Chris, Michael & Julianne Carol. She treated in-laws, neighbors & friends as family because they were family to her.

AJ joins her sister, Evelyn, husband and parents in Heaven. If you knew her you loved her because she loved you.
