Angelica "Angel" M. Torres, 39, of Wauchula, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. Angel was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 31, 1974 and had been a lifelong resident of Hardee County. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and had been a teacher with the East Coast Migrant Head Start. She also volunteered at the Feed My Sheep food bank ministry.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel Torres of Wauchula; cousin, Rey Andeverde of Winter Haven; and the Guajardo family members.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Burial mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, with Fr. Felix Fuentes officiating. Interment is in Wauchula Cemetery.
