Annie Ruth Lunsford Quackenbush's Obituary
Annie Ruth Quackenbush, 90, passed away at her home in Wauchula on Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born in Ocoee, Florida on November 21, 1925 and had been a resident of Hardee County since 1963, coming from New York. Ruth attended the First Baptist Church of Wauchula. She was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked for Walker Memorial Hospital.
In 2001, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Goldie J. Quackenbush, and is survived by four children, Dana Joe Quackenbush and wife Pam of Utica, NY, Barney Quackenbush of Wauchula, Diane Whitaker and husband Paul of Avon Park, and Teri Mantilla and husband Pat of SC; 12 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
