Antonio Hernandez Martinez, 78, of Wauchula, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. He was born in Mexico on June 13, 1940 and came to Hardee County in 1975. He attended St. Michael Catholic Church and worked as a laborer in harvesting citrus.

Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe "Lupe" Flores of Wauchula; one son, Jose Flores (Angelica) of Wauchula; seven daughters, Maria T. Florez of Wauchula, Yolanda Breitbard of Estero, FL, Clara Hernandez of North Carolina, Graciela Valadez of Wauchula, Irma Arce of Wauchula, Leticia Connelly of Pennsylvania, and Elisa Ochoa of Wauchula; one brother, Gulian Hernandez of Mexico; two sisters, Maria Hernandez of Mexico and Maria de Jesus Hernandez of Mexico; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with Services at Robarts Garden Chapel on Saturday, February 23rd at 9:00 AM. Interment is in Wauchula Cemetery.
