Augustin Lozano, 88, of Bowling Green, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at home. He was born in Mexico and had been a Hardee Co. resident since 1973. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and was a citrus laborer.
Survivors include 3 sons, Prudencio Lozano of Bowling Green, Jesus Lozano of Bowling Green, and Augustin Lozano Jr. of North Carolina; 3 daughters, Isabel Lozano of Wauchula, Maria C. Rodriguez of Bowling Green, and Juana Salazar of Polk City; 1 sister, Christina Lozano of Mexico; 22 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8th at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, with Rev. Adrien Pierre officiating. Burial is in Bowling Green Cemetery.
