Avelino Miranda, 75, of Wauchula, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 26, 2019. He was born in Mexico on April 25, 1944 and came to Hardee County to live 31 years ago. Avelino was employed as an agricultural laborer and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Balbina Avalos of Wauchula; five sons and daughters-in-law, Nicolas and Leticia Miranda of Wauchula, Solomon and Cristina Miranda of Wauchula, Jesus and Guadalupe Miranda of Sodus, New York, Lucio and Eva Miranda of Sodus, New York, Leon and Jeannette Miranda of Wauchula; six daughters and sons-in-law, Rosa and Antonio Molina of Wauchula, Victorina and Juan DeLatorre of Tokyo, Japan, Gracia and Rafael Rodriguez of Zolfo Springs, Teresa and Ruben Perez of Wauchula, Maria and Joel DeSantiago of Wauchula, Gloria and Juan Rodriguez of Zolfo Springs; one brother, Jesus Miranda of Wauchula; four sisters, Tila Miranda, Augustina Miranda, Merejildo Miranda, and Irais Miranda, all of Mexico; 41 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral Mass is at 11:00 AM Monday, December 30th at St. Michael Catholic Church. Interment is in Wauchula Cemetery.
