Barbara "Ruth" Zebendon, 91, of Wauchula, Florida. Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was born on July 6, 1929, in Independence, Missouri, Ga. Ruth had been a resident of Hardee County since 1996, coming from Stuart, Fl. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nora Rogers. Daughter Frances Zebendon, grandson Robert Haynes and Granddaughter Marsha Smith. She is survived by daughters, Mary Ramos of Wauchula; Terri Svendsen (Ted) of Ona, Fl; Hazel Poucher of Wauchula, Fl; Grandchildren Lewis Martin, Angie Roberts, Lynda Martin (Kenny), Latisha Harris, Tonya Barlow (Tyler), Teddy Svendsen (Candy) as well as several Great-grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. Funeral Services will follow beginning at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Jim Davis will be officiating Services. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 11:30 A.M.
