Beatrice Phillips Albritton, 77, of Wauchula, passed away at her home on July 4, 2013. She was born in Meshan, Georgia on February 27, 1936. A resident of Hardee County most of her life, she was known as "Aunt Bea". She had been a bus driver for the Hardee County public schools prior to retirement.

Mrs. Albritton was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. Albritton, and a son, Henry Joseph Wingate.
Survivors include one son, Harold Wingate, Sr. and wife Bonnie of Wauchula; one daughter, Linda Drake and husband Eugene of Ona; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Funeral service is at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Alan Permenter officiating. Interment is in Wauchula Cemetery.
