Bernice Johnston, 83, of Wauchula, passed away in Winter Haven on October 31, 2011. She was born in Lansing, Tennessee on October 1, 1928. Mrs. Johnston was a homemaker and had been a Bowling Green resident most of her life.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dallas.
Survivors include five sons, Johnny Johnston of Bowling Green, Jack Johnston of Zolfo Springs, Ricky Johnston of Wauchula, Ronnie Johnston of Fort Meade, and Randy Johnston of Sebring; two daughters, Kathy Karen Miller of Whittier, NC and Sharlet Weems of Wauchula; one brother, Clayton Potter of TN; one sister, Wilva Nelson of TN; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 1st from 6-8 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel with funeral services in the Garden Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial is in Bowling Green Cemetery.
