Bertha Lee Myers, 80, of Bartow, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, in Bartow, Florida. Bertha was born May 31, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia to Jasper and Jessie (Hopgood) Ledford. She has been a resident of Bartow, Florida for the past 25 years, she is a retired Pepper Plant, Canner. Bertha was Christian by faith attending Turning Point Worship Center in Bartow, FL. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; son Leroy Tate; daughter Dixie Higgenbotham; brothers Hollis Ledford, Floyd Lee Ledford, and Bunyan Ledford; sisters Elizabeth Irene Turner, Dorothy Spears, Nettie Criswell, and Zula Mae Blair. Bertha is survived by her husband Donald Rimes of Bartow, FL.; sons Johnny Myers (Patty) of Fayetteville, TN., and Robert Myers of Zolfo Springs, FL.; daughters Rosalie Brindley of Okeechobee, FL., and Arlene Myers of Zolfo Springs, FL.; bonus daughters Tessa Graham of Zolfo Springs, FL., and Tammy Hakes of Brooksville, FL.; brothers Ray Ledford of Ray City, GA., and Worley Ledford of Fort Pierce, FL.; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 P.M. followed by Funeral Services at 2:00 P.M.
