Catherine E. Evors 77, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, in Sebring, Florida. Catherine was born April 5, 1945, in Bainbridge, Georgia to Theodore and Mattie Jones. She was a resident of Hardee County most of her life before moving to Highlands County. Catherine was a bookkeeper/accountant by trade working in the finance industry. She was Methodist by faith and a member of the First Methodist Church of Wauchula, Florida. Catherine is preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Mattie Jones; brothers Kenneth Jones and Ronald Jones; sisters Irma Nobles and Betty Murray. She is survived by her son Darrell Evors (Wife) Judy Evors; her daughter Brandy Bond (Husband) Kevin Bond; her sister Rosalind Bass (Husband) Wayne Bass; grandchildren Dara Evors, Lark Evors, Jake (Ashley) Bond, Trey (Morgan) Bond, Marshall (Emily) Bond, and Mattie Bond; great-grandson Carter Bond, great-granddaughter (on the way) Josie Bond; 4 nephews and 3 nieces. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 4:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. followed by a funeral service at 6:00 P.M. in Robarts Garden Chapel. The family has requested any donations to be made to the March of Dimes or the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Catherine Evors.
