Celia Figueroa, 84, of Wauchula, Florida passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Celia was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico on April 7, 1936. She was a resident of Hardee County for five years coming from Mexico. She was a homemaker and Catholic by faith, attending St. Michaels Catholic Church.
Celia was preceded in death by her parents, Humberto Loera and Evlalia Escobedo Loera. She is survived by her loving husband Isauro Figueroa; sons Rigoberto Figueroa (Lilia Contrera) and Isauro Figueroa (Josefina) of Hardee County; daughters Irma Monroy (Alfredo) of Decatur Alabama; Maribel Figueroa; Delina Figueroa; Araceli Figueroa; and Yesenia Figueroa of Mexico. Brothers Salvador Loera and Hector Loera of Mexico; 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Michaels Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. followed by internment at Wauchula Cemetery.
