Charlotte Bivens Evans, 43, lifelong resident of Zolfo Springs, passed away on March 2, 2012 at her home. She was ready for peace and is now resting. She was born in Plant City, Florida on December 26, 1968. Charlotte was a roofer with Hardee Roofing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston Bivens and Shirley Jean Rogers, and nieces, Nicole Jean Bivens and Laura Jean Gordy.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Evans and Richie Evans, Jr., both of Wauchula; two brothers, Robert Bivens, Sr. of Zolfo Springs and Patrick Bivens of Naples; one sister, Novella "Sissy" Gordy of Zolfo Springs; one grandson, Billy Evans, Jr.; and seven nephews and nieces, Robert Bivens, Jr., Jessica, Ellen, and Crissy Lynn Bivens, Daniel, Michael, and Drew Gordy.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
