Christine Harrell, 62, of Bowling Green, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at home. She was born in Wauchula and had been a lifelong resident of Hardee County. She was a member of the Bowling Green Church of God.
Christine was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lois Wyckoff, step-father, Donald Wyckoff, father, Robert Johnson, husband, Danny Harrell, and brother, James Johnson.
Survivors include one son, Anthony Harrell of Lakeland; two daughters, Bonnie (Bud) Heggie of Bowling Green, and Mary (Billy) Hall of Ona; one sister, Virginia (Gary) Oden of Wauchula; one brother, Eugene (Michelle) Johnson of Wauchula; sister-in-law, Louise Johnson of Nichols, Georgia; and 7 grandchildren, Cesnie, Joshua, and Danielle Heggie, Lacey and Trent Harrell, and Autumn and Blake Hall; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces/nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10th from 6-8 p.m. at Bowling Green Church of God. Funeral Services are at the church at 10:00 a.m. Friday with the Reverends Doyle Staton, Michael Howell, and Brad Stidham officiating. Interment is in Wauchula Cemetery.
