Christine Hendrix, 72, of Mulberry, Fl. passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at her home. She was born on November 25,1944 in Wauchula, FL.Christine was a resident of Polk County since 1974 coming from Hardee County. She was a retired FBO manager for Bartow Municipal Airport. Christine was a lifelong church member of Lake Dale Baptist Church & Alturus Baptist Church, as well as past President of the Pilots Club in Bartow, Fl.

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers James E. Johnson, Alan Herman Johnson, J.A. Johnson. and sister Mary Lois Bass.
Survivors include her loving husband Edward Hendrix of Mulberry; daughter Stacey McNelis Berkowitz and husband Michael of Mulberry; brother Ray Johnson of Ft. Myers; sister Joni Johnson and husband LaMont of Ft. Myers; and grandchildren Madison McNelis and Abigail Berkowitz

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 10-11 AM with funeral services at 11 AM. Burial is in Lake Dale Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Maybeey will officiate.
