Clark C. Pearson, 76, of Wauchula, passed away at Advent Health Lake Placid on Thursday, February 20, 2020. He was born in Cullman, Alabama on June 16, 1943. Clark came to Hardee County from Waverly, Florida in 1973. He was a Christian and a member of Lake Dale Baptist Church.

Clark had been employed for the City of Bowling Green as the police chief, was a deputy with the Hardee County Sheriff Office, and a collections agent with the First National Bank of Wauchula and Wauchula State Bank. He was also an associate with Robarts Family Funeral Home for several years and also worked for Ponger Kays Gardy Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife Betty J. "Janie" Pearson of Wauchula; four sons, Howard Pearson (Kelly) of Sebring, Conrad Pearson (Tammy) of Bowling Green, Anthony Pearson of Lakeland, and Clark Edward Pearson of Florida; step-daughter, Kimberly Bartley (Ronnie) of Chiefland, FL; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at Lake Dale Baptist Church with Rev. Albert Blum officiating. Visitation is from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
