Colten Howell, 28, passed away on May 22, 2026, in Manatee County, Florida. He was born on February 25, 1998, in Bradenton, Florida to Michael Lance Howell and Jamie Lynn Harrell. A lifelong resident of Hardee County, he made his living as a Lead Solar Panel Installer. Colten spent his life seeking new adventures and experiences. Now, his adventurous heart has taken its final journey to be with the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Ezra Howell and Thomas Harrell, and his Uncle Bruce Harrell. Colten is survived by both of his parents; his grandmothers Ann Howell and Janice Harrell; his son Jettsen Howell, his son's mother Ashley Hodges, and bonus daughter Cambrey Douglas; his sisters Callie and Lanie Howell; his uncles Darryl Goodman, Randy Harrell, and Michael Harrell; his aunts Sherry Christianson, and Willie Berry, many cousins, and his closest friend Gloigens "G" Metayer.

Services will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. and burial at New Zion Cemetery.
