Courtney "Buck" E. Toole, 87, of Bowling Green, passed away on April 4th, 2013 at Hardee Manor Healthcare Center in Wauchula, Florida. He was born on July 23rd, 1925 in Perry, Florida to parents Thomas Alfred and Laura Alice Toole. He proudly served with the United States Merchant Marines. He moved to Bowling Green from Perry, Florida at the age of 5. He worked as a Citrus Grower and Cattle Rancher. He was also a member of the Fort Green Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Alfred and Laura Alice Toole; A Step-Son, Roger Best; Sister, Miley Young, and Brother Thomas Edward Toole.
He is survived by his significant other, Glenda Best; Stepson, Steve Boone of Bowling Green; Stepdaughters, Deborah Freeman of Wauchula, and Gwendolyn Cade of California; Sisters, Verna T. Whitfield of Bowling Green, Florida, Mary Alice Durrance of Avon Park, Florida, Willie Clyde Cloud of Sebring, Florida; Several Nieces and Nephews; Several Step-Grandchildren

Services will be held at Fort Green Baptist Church on Sunday, April 7th, with a visitation at 1:00 p.m. and the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Roland Davis, Rev. Steve McGaughey and Mr. Duck Smith officiating. Interment is at Bowling Green City Cemetery.
