Curtis E. Culver, 69, of Arcadia, passed away on January 13, 2013 at Tidewell Hospice. He was born in Arcadia on November 2, 1943 and had been a lifelong resident of DeSoto County. Mr. Culver attended New Day Baptist Church and had been employed with the County as a welder.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Gay. Survivors include one son, Daniel Culver and companion Kirstie MacNicol of Arcadia; one brother, Henry Culver of Dothan, Alabama; two sisters, Charlotte Sanders and Dorothy Hines of Arcadia; and one grandchild, Kyre Culver.
Graveside services and interment are at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Joshua Creek Cemetery with Rev. Ken Galloway and Rev. Ellis Cross officiating.
