Curtis Allan Elbertson, 45, of Hardee County, passed away on December 9, 2025, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Curtis was born on March 3, 1980, in Lakeland, Florida, to Jasper Elbertson Jr. and the late Jeanne Wetherington. A lifelong resident of Hardee County and Baptist by faith, Curtis served his community for many years as a member of the county road crew.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Wetherington. Curtis is survived by his father, Jasper Elbertson Jr.; his daughter, Jaime Kay Elbertson, and Jaime's mother, Katie Roberts; and his brother, Michael Champion.

A memorial service will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Marcus Shackleford will be speaking. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Curtis's life.
