Curtis Brian Jackson, Sr., 68, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away in Sebring on Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born in Gary, Indiana on July 5, 1948. Curtis moved from Phoenix, Arizona to Hardee County in 1994 and lived here until moving to Highlands County in 2012. He was Protestant by faith, and had been the owner of a radiator repair shop.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Packard Boyette. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jackson of Avon Park, Florida; seven children, Curtis Brian Jackson, Jr. of Bogota, New Jersey, Tracy Shannon Jackson (Vera) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Joshua Jackson (Jennifer) of Bradenton, Florida, Shane Dillon Jackson of Avon Park, Florida, Crystal Danielle Jackson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jason Jackson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Randall Packard (Cheri) of Avon Park, Florida; one brother, Craig Jackson of Michigan; 27 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00--3:00 PM at Robarts Garden Chapel on Saturday, February 25, 2017, with funeral services at 3:00 PM. Elder John H. Peterson will officiate.
