Dana Nicole Martinez, 42, of Wauchula, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. Born on June 7, 1982, in Avon Park, Fla., she was the daughter of Darlene Williams and Samuel Mendoza.

Dana was a current resident of Hardee County. She had previously resided in DeSoto County.

She dedicated her life to raising her four beautiful daughters and three grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Yesenia Martinez, Thalia Martinez, and IsaBella Martinez, all of Wauchula, and Araceli Martinez, of Bowling Green; grandchildren, DJ and Beatriz McKenzie and Masai McMillian, of Wauchula; parents, Darlene Williams and Jesse Alvarado, of Wauchula, and Samuel Mendoza, of Zolfo Springs; brothers, Dusty Mendoza, of Wauchula, and Devin (Kaylen) Mendoza, of Sebring, Fla.; and ex-husband, JD Martinez, of Arcadia, Fla.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at Robarts Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastors Albert and Patricia Juarez.
