David Lee Spencer 50, of Wauchula, Florida passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021, in Lakeland Regional Hospital Lakeland, Florida. David was born February 5, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan, and has been a resident of Hardee County for the past 46 years, he was a forklift operator by trade but his legacy lies in who he was, he was always cheerful, kind, and gentle most regarding him as a "Big Teddy Bear" everyone around him loved him and considered him family. David was a magnificent father and lived to spoil his daughter Story. He is preceded in death by his mother Bernice Greene Spencer and brother Mark Spencer. David is survived by his father Herman Spencer (Barbara) of Wauchula, Fl.; daughter Story Spencer of Bowling Green, Fl.; brothers Charles Paussi of Wauchula, Fl., and Robert Spencer (Sara) of Wauchula, Fl.; sister Jennifer Sosa (Albert) of Wauchula, Fl.; and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations towards a trust fund for Story Spencer. A visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Robarts Garden Chapel followed by a memorial service at 5:30 P.M. Reverend Ron Cannon will be officiating.
