Deborah "Debbie" Marcelle Parnell, 66, of Ona, Florida passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, Florida on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Debbie was born in Arcadia, Florida on February 9, 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Hardee County. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith, attending Limestone Baptist Church.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Parnell, and parents, Paul Murphy and Lola McClelland Murphy. Survivors include one daughter, Virginia "Ginger" Dixon of Shelby, North Carolina; one brother, Steve Byrd (Debbie) of Live Oak, Florida; two sisters, Elinor "Missy" Darty of Ona, and Vicky Pollard; two grandchildren, Leanna Routt and Racheal Routt; and two nephews, Daniel and Brandon Darty.
