Delbert Moye 76, a lifelong resident of Hardee County passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022. He was born to William and Wilma Moye on December 12, 1945, in Bowling Green, Florida. He proudly served Our Country in the United States Army. Delbert was a member of First Baptist Church of Bowling Green where he served as a Sunday school teacher. Delbert worked for Hardee County Road and Bridge department. He is preceded in death by both his parents and sisters Wilma Summerall and Charlotte Kersey. Delbert is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Moye, and his daughters Angie Tomlinson (Marvin) of Ft. Pierce, FL. and Tonya Grice (Pete) of Bowling Green, FL., along with five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday, June 24, 2022. At 10:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Scott Tharp will be officiating. Interment will take place at Fort Green Baptist Cemetery.
