Diana Jean Strube, 61, of Arcadia, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 in Arcadia. She was born Dec. 22, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and had been a resident of Arcadia for the past 28 years. Diana was the Bookkeeper for Memorial Elementary School, retiring from the School District of DeSoto County in June 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Strube of Arcadia; two sons, Michael E. Strube of Clearwater and Matthew D. Strube of Arcadia; one sister, Jacqulyne S. Svoboda of Jacksonville; one brother, Eric E. Berhow of Zephyrhills; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel J. Strube.
