Diane Greubel "Gigi", 85, of Bowling Green, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Born December 18, 1932 in Carmi, Illinois, "Gigi" moved to Hardee County from Lake Wales, Florida in 1987. She was a member of First Christian Church in Wauchula and had been employed as a medical technician.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Othel and Faye Brown. "Gigi" is
survived by her children, Steve Greubel (wife Jennifer) of Winter Haven, Jane Long (husband Junior) of Zolfo Springs, Karen Wheeler (husband James) of Holliday, Texas, Lynn Shumard (husband Steve) of Wauchula, Larry Greubel (wife Jamie) of Wauchula, and Sherrie Greubel of Asheville, North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Derek, Julia, Matt, Robby, Robyn, Christian, Andrew, Vreen, Elizabeth, and Wendy; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6-8 PM Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral Services are at 4:00 PM Friday, March 9th at First Baptist Church of Bowling Green with Pastor Scott Tharp officiating. Burial is in Wauchula Cemetery.
