Dominic Phillip Ferraro, 95, of Wauchula, passed away on January 2, 2013 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. Born in Wickliffe, Ohio on February 4, 1917, he moved to Hardee County in 1974 from Ohio. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and prior to retiring, he was employed as a machinist with a rubber manufacturing company. Mr. Ferraro attended St. Michael Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ferraro. Survivors include his wife, Frances Ferraro of Wauchula; daughter, Patricia Sullivan of Ohio; step-daughter, Helen Johnson and husband Roy of Wauchula; step-sons, Andy VanOrden of Northport and Larry VanOrden of West Palm Beach.
Services and interment are Friday, January 11th at 9:30 A.M. at Sarasota National Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the U.S.M.C.
