Donnie Ray Boyd's Obituary
Donnie Ray Boyd, 58, of Zolfo Springs, passed away at Advent Health Wauchula on Thursday, April 30, 2020. He was born on June 17, 1961 in Arcadia, Florida and had been a resident of Hardee County for six years, coming from Sarasota, Florida. Donnie was a cowboy and a member of the Cowboy Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Boyd. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Boyd of Zolfo Springs; mother, Judy Nickerson of Zolfo Springs and step-father, Roger Nickerson of Zolfo Springs; son, Calder Ray Boyd of Sarasota; daughter, Jordan Dieter and her husband and loving son in law Brandon Dieter of Zolfo Springs; sisters, Marty Merritt of Lake Placid, and Jody Sullivan (Kevin) of Arcadia; and two grandchildren, Sloane Rae Dieter and Westin Dieter.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Reality Ranch, 1942 SR 66, Zolfo Springs, at 10:30 AM on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Brandon Dieter, Jesse Jones, and Jess Page will officiate.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Gethasame Ranch. Donnie was a huge supporter of youth and the rodeo.
