Donovan Earl Thompson, 83, of Wauchula, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Hardee Manor. He was born in Westfield, Illinois on January 7, 1936 and had been a Hardee County resident since 1992 when he moved from Indianapolis, Indiana. He was employed for General Motors Corp. as a janitor and was Protestant by faith.

Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Earl Thompson and Charlotte Floretta Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Erma Rae Thompson of Wauchula;
two daughters, Donna Sue Thomas-McNeely of California, her children and grandchildren Emmalee Rachelle Schroeder, 32, (Justin), Lucas Henry Schroeder, 4, Landon Andrew Schroeder 23 months, and Spencer Alexander McNeely, 19.
Lynda Rachelle Harker of West Palm Beach, Florida her children and grandchildren Michael Gregory Harker, 37, (Abby), Joseph William Harker, 17, Catalina Alexandra Martinez-Thorn, 13, Merlin Lucas Harker, 2, Brenton William Harker, 34;
two step-children, Pamela Lee Cornelius of Wauchula (James), their child
Michael Donovan Cornelius, 25, and John Gilbert Dobbins of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and his child Dakota Dobbins, 22,
one sister, Patricia Joanne Rohrer (Howard) of Olmstead Falls, Ohio.
as well as several nieces and nephews.
