Dorothy "Jeanette" Johnson, 96, of Wauchula, passed away at Hardee Manor on Friday, May 1, 2015. Born in Dothan, Alabama on February 10, 1919, she was a resident of Hardee County most of her life. Jeanette was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and a homemaker.

Her husband, O. K. Johnson, preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Johnson of Wauchula, Roy Johnson of Zolfo Springs, and Billy Johnson of North Carolina; two daughters, Josephine Johnson of Wauchula and Judy Crawford of Wauchula; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Jeanette was held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Memorial Services are at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 with Graveside services taking place at 11:30 AM at New Hope Cemetery. Elder H. K. Mills, Jr. is officiating.
