Dorothy R. Link, 83, of Wauchula, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Wauchula, Fl. She was born December 20, 1933 in Fort Green, Florida. She was a resident of Hardee County for most of her life. She was diligent in her baking and cooking for family and friends and carrying food to many bereaved family and friends. Dorothy was a former member if the Fort Green Baptist Church, as well as a charter member of the Wauchula Hills Baptist Church. and currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Wauchula. She taught Sunday school to pre-teens at the Wauchula Hills Baptist Church. She was also a member of Business and Professional Women's Club of Wauchula. After graduating from Hardee High School in 1952 she went on to attend Business College in Jacksonville, Fl. She spent her working years as a bookkeeper for John Deer in Zolfo Springs, Fl. Blazers Nursery in Tallivast, Fl., Raybro Electric in Tampa, Fl., Gene Drake CPA if Wauchula, Fl. Cannon Building Materials in Wauchula and also Grimsley Oil Company of Wauchula,fl.

She is preceded in Death by her Parents Jacob Marley Link and Emma Mae Abbott Link, Sister Winnie Link Gibbs, Brother who died as an infant.

She is survived by her nephew Frank Gibbs and friends Carol Wood and daughter Margaret.
