Dorothy McAbee 83, of Wauchula, Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022. She was born June 27, 1938, in Charleston, South Carolina. She was a factory worker by trade and a Baptist by faith, she loved her grandchildren, and life. She is preceded in death by both parents, husband Fred McAbee, son Bill Carter, and daughter Lynn Bazzle. Dorothy is survived by sons Leonard Carter, and Alvin Carter of South Carolina; daughters Janice Hill of Florida, Joyce Myers, and Donna Myers of South Carolina; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Robarts Garden Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M.
