Efrain Rios-Roman


Passed peacefully on November 2, 2021, at 2:00 am surrounded by Love and Family at the age of 77. Efrain is survived by his wife of 51 years Rachel Rios, his two sons, eldest Johnny Benavidez, and wife Andrea, Edward Rios, and wife Elisavet. Also survived by his four daughters, eldest Carolina Landaverde and husband Arturo, Rachel Navarro and husband Noe, Rebecca Rios, and youngest daughter Emily Ibañez and husband Jose.


Efrain enjoyed life's blessings with eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


He was born March 27, 1944 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Efrain has been a resident of Hardee County since 1982. Besides spending time with his wife, he enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Efrain began his walk with the Lord in 1974, dedicating life to his missionary and pastoral calling. He was a dedicated husband, father, and brother in Christ with a personality and spirit that encompassed Love, Laughter, Compassion, and a Heart for Service. He will be honored with a celebration of life with family and friends.
