Elida C. Trevino 77, of Wauchula, Florida passed on Saturday, April 13, 2024. She was born in Raymondville, Texas on April 7, 1947, to Lorenzo and Rosa (Garza) Contreras. She was a lifetime resident of Hardee County, enjoyed gardening, and loved her family. She was the president of "The Club" other members were her granddaughters Christine and Kristen. Elida is preceded in death by both of her parents, her son Thomas A. Trevino, her brothers Larry Contreras, and Lorenzo Contreras Jr., her sisters Elvita Mendoza, and Adela Naranjo. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Gilbert Carrion, son Raul Trevino Jr. of Wauchula, Florida, daughter Anita Trevino-Naranjo(Jesus) of Wauchula, Florida, brothers Johnny Contreras of Texas, Tony Contreras (Alma) of Texas, Joe Contreras of Texas, and Freddy Contreras(Linda) of Texas, sisters Irene Camargo (Juan) of Texas, Angie Garza of Texas, and Linda Contreras of Texas, 15 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Robert Rodriguez will be officiating.
