Emmanuel Chery, 73, a resident of Hardee County since 1980 coming from Haiti passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020. He was born in Haitian, Haiti on February 20, 1947. Emmanuel worked as an agriculture laborer. He was Christian by faith and attended Eglise Evangelique Bethel.

He is preceded in death by his father, Norvelos Chery.

Survivors include his loving wife, Philomene Chery of Wauchula, Fl; sons, Altes Chery of Virginia, Wilfred Chery of Virginia, daughters, Elsie Chery of PA, Marie Nelta Chery of Wauchula, Fl; brother, Francios Chery of Haiti, and sister, Yoland Chery of Haiti. As well as 18 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held May 9, 2020 at Eglise Evangelique Bethel at 10 am with Pastor Marc Luis officiating. Interment will be held at Wauchula Cemetery.
