Enriqueta R. Garcia, 64, of Bowling Green, passed away at her home on March 21, 2012. Mrs. Garcia was born on March 16, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan, and moved to Hardee County in 1964 from Michigan. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tomas Garcia of Bowling Green; one son, Julian Garcia and wife Lucia of Bowling Green; three daughters, Isabel Vargas and husband Abel of Bowling Green, Elizabeth Flores and husband Jamie of Bowling Green, and Sophia Garcia of Bowling Green; two brothers, John Ruiz of Texas and Roberto Najr of Colorado; five sisters, Rosemary Martinez of Texas, Reyes Pulido of Georgia, Lydia Colchado of Bowling Green, Munse Ruiz of Wauchula, and Virginia Guajardo of Bowling Green; and eleven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Sack officiating. Burial is in Wauchula Cemetery.
