Erika Victoria Naranjo, 31, of Wauchula, passed away at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa on Sunday, January 24, 2021. She was born in Arcadia Florida on October 2, 1989. Erika had a smile that lit up the room and the lives of those who knew her. She is survived by her father Lawrence Newberry of Alabama; mother Dorothea Powell Altman and stepfather Joel Altman of Wauchula; father and mother-in-law Jesus and Anita Naranjo,
her loving and devoted husband Emilio Naranjo of Wauchula; two sons Cameron James Newberry of Wauchula and Johnathan Tyler Shrum of Lake Wales; daughter Mariyah Elaine Shrum of Lake Wales; brother Eric Demello of Arizona; brother-in-Law Jesse Naranjo Jr.(Christine Sanchez) of Wauchula, Thomas Trevino Naranjo III of Wauchula; Sister Missy Almarez (Johnathon) of Zolfo Springs, Fl. and several Aunts and Uncles and many friends. Memorial Service will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday January 29, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Bishop Wendell Smith will officiate.
