George Carl Schraeder III, 75, went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2022. George was born and raised in Texas, moved to Florida to raise a family in Destin, FL., and was a resident of Hardee County since 2008. He attended First Baptist Church and faithfully worked at Krause Grove Service, Inc. since moving to Wauchula. George will be forever remembered for his kind heart and compassion for people. He is survived by his son Efran Schraeder (Kim), daughter Jennifer (Schraeder) Donoho (Ryan), and his four grandchildren Weston, Owen, Maddie Jane Schraeder, and Aiden Donoho. George will be laid to rest at sea in honor of his love of fishing and spending time on the water with his family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to Best Friends Animal Society at www.bestfriends.org in honor of his great compassion for homeless animals.
