Gerald Lee Springfield, 85, of Lake Placid Fl., went to be with the Lord on Sunday April 30, 2017. Gerry was one of 9 Children, born June 26, 1931 in Middletown Ohio. Preceded in death by his children Pam Welles and Lee Springfield. Gerry is survived by his wife of 7 years, Delena Springfield, children Belinda Savage, Allen Springfield, Blaine Springfield, Karen Hammand, Cindy Arvidson as well as three stepdaughters Sonya Rasmussen, Sharon Roberts and Lana Mislevy. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gerry served in the Air Force and retired from Schindler Elevator Company, as a senior field manager. Gerry was an avid fisherman and served as president of his local Bass Association in Mt. Dora, Florida for a number of years.
A Visitation will be held at Peeples Funeral Home in Chatsworth Ga. 10:00 A.M. Thursday May 4, 2017 with a memorial service following at 11:00 A.M.
