Guadalupe Garcia, 47, of Zolfo Springs, passed away on February 9, 2012 at Florida Hospital Orlando. Mr. Garcia was born on March 10, 1964 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and moved to Hardee County 25 years ago. He was Catholic, and a citrus grove laborer.
Survivors include his wife, Sanjuanita Garcia of Zolfo Springs; parents, Guadalupe Garcia and Julia Lopez of Mexico; son, Gerardo Garcia of Zolfo Springs; daughter, Monica Luna and husband Gilbert of Wauchula; daughter-in-law, Dixie Garcia of Zolfo Springs; sisters, Juanita Pompa, Elena Garcia, Beatriz Garcia, Isabel Garcia, and Yadira Garcia, all of Mexico; and grandchildren, Lilly Ann Garcia, Omar and Ivan Luna.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6-8 p.m., with service at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Esteban Soler is officiating.
