Guadalupe Estrada Lazo, 86, of Wauchula, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. Mrs. Lazo was born in San Benito, Texas on August 21, 1925. She had lived in Hardee County for forty years, coming from Michigan. She was a Catholic and a homemaker.
Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, John and Gloria Lazo of Zolfo Springs, Jose and Maria Lazo of New Era, Michigan, Domingo and Piedad Lazo (Jr.) of Wauchula, Pablo and Angelita Lazo of Bowling Green, and Reuben and Marta Lazo of Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Inocensia Lazo of Wauchula, Sylvia and Andres Gaona of Zolfo Springs, and Yolanda and Angel Hernandez of Wauchula; one nephew; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral Mass is at 12:00 Noon on Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church.
